About Us
Lawton Dental Practice was established in 1984 by Bijan Darabi and it has been operating as a dental practice ever since. In 1994 the conversion to private practice was undertaken and whilst children are still currently seen under the NHS, adults are treated under a private fee scheme.
In 2005, the practice changed hands and Amir Rahimzadeh took over as principal dental surgeon.

The practice benefits from modern equipment and comfortable, air-conditioned surgeries. We are a fully-computerised practice and all patient records and appointments are kept on computer hard-drives and backed up daily. This eliminates errors and mistakes, which would otherwise be present if conventional pen and paper methods were implicated.
In addition, the practice benefits from digital radiography (x-rays) and photography. Digital x-rays eliminate unwanted radiation to patients by up to 90% and are the safest form of radiography. In addition, they produce an instant image, which saves surgery time. Digital intra- and extra- oral photography are used routinely to aid diagnosis and patient education. They are also a great asset when cosmetic treatment is performed, as they enable before and after images to be taken.
