Meet the Team

DR. AMIR RAHIMZADEH, BDS

Amir's ambition to be a dentist started as far back as when he was just 10 years old. His many visits to the orthodontist to straighten his teeth, allowed him to realise a future career in dentistry.

He qualified from Manchester University in 1997 and after working in Crewe, Manchester and Wilmslow, he took over Lawton Dental Practice at the end of 2005.

Amir's special interests include Cosmetic dentistry and Crown and Bridgework. Amir is also extremely good at treating nervous patients. His gentle technique has gained him many fans over the years and he continues to convert nervous patients into relaxed individuals who are no longer fearful of the dentist!

In his spare time, Amir enjoys acting on a professional level and has been on the theatre stage several times in the North West. His credits include "Curry Boys" at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester (2002). Between 2004 and 2006, he took part in the "24:7 Theatre Festival" in Manchester, earning further acting and directorial credits. Most recently, he was featured in the short film "Soulshutter" which was shown at The Cannes Film Festival in 2007. You'll be reassured that his dentistry is better than his acting!

MISS MELANIE BENNETT

Melanie has been working at Lawton Dental Practice for over 10 years. As well as being a qualified dental nurse, she also takes a managerial duty at the practice and oversees the day-to-day running of the practice. Her chair-side assistance is extremely valuable and she's also very good at putting nervous patients at ease during their treatment.

MISS ALEXIS BURTON

Alexis has been with us at Lawton Dental Practice for around 4 years, working on a part-time basis. She is a qualified dental nurse and has excellent chair-side skills and an attractive personality. Alexis continues to be a valuable member of our team and her contribution to our work is gratefully received by all the staff and patients alike.

MRS CHRISTINE BALL

Christine is the latest addition to our team and is head of reception. She comes from Alsager and has been working locally for many years. She is very well-suited to greeting patients and making them feel welcome to the practice.
